Hey..
So i just got this Dell Inspiron 15R 2nd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 500GB/1GB Graphics/ DOS Laptop: Flipkart.com: Compare, Review Dell Notebook
not too long ago and been playing around it lately..
And now - some observation
I can't seem to understand how good is the GPU. There are videos where I'm getting kind of a pixelated screen at times.. but im sure that never happened with my old laptop..
I decided to play Claw just for fun and not really impressed with it. At the beginning when the movie auto plays.. the entire movie is way low on graphics. Once i get to the menu.. everything's fine.. but then.. sometimes.. in between the game.. the entire colors get mixed.. if you know what I mean.. and that leads to a terrible experience. As if someone spilled ink on your screen.
THen there are youtube videos - even on 1080p I see some low graphic areas.. like patchy areas/pixelated areas.
PS:
I updated my graphics card from nvidia site - and I'm still encountering this problem
I also tried to look for an update for the on-board video card but microsoft says that's the latest one!
Mostly I have power on while gaming and also watching vids.. If i run the same on battery.. the quality is aweful.
So, I have no clue as to why this is happening and also I'm looking for a good software with which I can test my graphics card. Help please =[
