thanks krishnandu & revolution.
I have zebronix 450w psu. Will it suffice?

will surely suffice. HD4650 consumes very very low power. so don't worry about PSU getting blown up due to graphics card load.

also avoid HD4550, HD4350, HD5450. 9400GT. GT210. 5 great crap cards of 21st century.

thanks cilus.
can you explain me why? These cards has a lots of user, isnt it, sam?

well many users buy these card. specially the 1Gb versions. only to see the smile disappear from their face as soon as they start getting slide shows on games when they upp the details to its limit, along with resolution. cause all these are non gaming cards. peoples should buy this card only if they want game in 17" & want run old games. add 20" + Crysis + high details = slide show. maybe still pics also.

4650 is a decent card option in 3k price range
it will play most games (DX10) in 1024*768 resolution in medium/high details depending upon the type of game

gpu are not only meant for gaming. People use it for video editing, 3d renderings and other multimedia stuffs. Some are used to project multiple screens. There are whole lot of other stuffs there. So, sam its illogical to say they are crap..

i was telling those cards are not suitable for gaming. cause they all cost close to 2.5k or sometimes exceed 3k. for that price 9500GT & HD4650 offer much more performance.

if someone got old pc with bad graphics & want use Win7. he/she may get any of those cards & will be happy with the performance. also are good for HD movie watching. or for non-IGP boards. but things turn ugly when u start running games in them.
