Got the Ngage, now what?

My friend had damaged his 3300 or something in that line, so he sent it back for repairs, but nokia was unable to find the required parts, gave him an Ngage QD. Only problem is that he doesn't have any games to play with it. Can anyone explain how the system works? Does one have to buy individual games and install them on a memory card? Are the games transferrable? Stuff like that.....Please, I want to use the QD which is why I'm taking all this trouble....

Also, how much does a normal game cost? and is it uh....shall I say...copyable from another?

The games for the N-Gage come in memory cards which you insert in the phone. Nothing is installed on the phone (except for save games). The games cost anything from 1100 to 2500 rupees. They are available at some Nokia Priority dealers.

The games are loaded free of cost when u get them from nokia shops. They preinstall upto 3 games.

It anywhere between 49 or 99 or 149rs. per game in case u wanna download it from hutch or airtel. It's Java game keeo that in mind; those normal seires 60 app.

Yes.. we have to load into the MMC.

I think we can if u first downlaod it your PC and trasfer to your phone.

I was referring to the system of installing/ buying games and stuff like that. But you seem to have given me the info....

But what is this dude on top saying that the games cost 1100 to 2500 rupees? and then you say its 149 bucks. The games I am talking about are games like spiderman, tomb raider and stuff like that....

I said it's java games for series 60 phones, i clearly siad the ones we download from our network providers.

Yes those games of n gage cost around 1k or more...

Ngage original games definitely cost on the higher side and can set you back by a couple thousand bucks.

Ofcourse, there are other illegal options but then those can leave you with a dead phone if anything goes wrong. So tread with caution. There are many games on Ngage that are worth the bucks.
