Google to Announce Phone Plans on Monday

Previously, we predicted the so-called Google Phone (gPhone) would be nothing more than a bundle of existing Google mobile apps loaded on a standard handset(s) with some form of revenue share thrown in for good measure. On Friday, the Wall Street Journal seemed to agree with that assertion.

Right or wrong, apparently we won't have to wait much longer to find out. Sources also told the Journal that Google is set to announce its "big plans for wireless" on Monday, including more specifics on "alliances with various handset makers and cellphone operators."

Google has partenered Airtel, India as one of the two selected networks for the phone . Nokia is not there as handset partner(samsung and motorolla are)
