Is there any way to turn off win updates completely? It loads with the strt up and takes up some RAM!
AND
G talk is showing a recent "cannot athunticte" error message. It was working some time before
How can i resolve both of these problems?
To turn off updates in Windows XP, go to the Security Center either from the Control Panel or Start>All Programs>Accessroies>System Tools>Security Tools
Click on Manage Settings for Automatic Updates and turn updating off from there.
