gmail pop3 problems

I am unable to download mails from gmail via POP3 in Outlook Express.

I get the following error message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'GMAIL', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any workaround for this issue.

just try googling. I had a problem in our ambala office once and i did something which sorted it out. It was over a month ago so i don't remember, but I did use gmail troubleshooter. Download from here.
*dl.google.com/gmailpoptroubleshooter/GmailPopTroubleshooterInstaller.exe

Have you enabled POP3 in your GMAIL account
