does file sysytem of hard-disk matter when using ghost image ??


I created ghost image with the fat32 file system ..

now if i use convert.exe and and convert my parttion to ntfs so can i nstall ghost image (my backup )on it .

is convert.exe is the right method to convert it to ntfs parttion ?

will there be any data loss ?

dear no problem if u over write ur Ghost image on your partition ,it does work in my case

my c drive is FAT32 and i have created image

after few days using Comman

CONVERT c: /FS:NTFS

i have converted it to ntfs

after 3 months i stucks with problem

so i have used that image than my partition automatically converted to fat32

i use acronis true image and when restoring the saved image (which was made from fat32 based partition) to ntfs one Acronis itself does the conversions (to the image file on the fly "not to the partition type").
don know whether same is with ghost or not.
