Get Rid of Arrows frm icons ?

yes he deleted the whole file.I just did it and all icons turned to unknown.so buddy please be careful while applying reghacks.
in tweak ui expand the explorer section on the left.
select shortcuts.
in the right pane select NONE.
click apply

sorry actually i was in hurry sooo culd'nt specify u guys properly wat i mean lolz

and ya i want icons without name i mean nothing suld be there only the icon lolz

yes! its possible. Just rename them and while giving name press <ALT> key and press 0160 using Num Keypad

select rename
hold alt
type 0160 by keypad
release alt
done

this will work for only 1 icon.to rename 2nd icon do this
select rename
hold alt
type 0160
release alt
hold alt again
type 0160
release alt
done

for third icon hold alt once more type 0160 release and so on....

hmmmm...I use auto patcher to remove arrows on shortcuts..in addition it also removes the phrase "shortcut to" from shortcuts...

U can remove the "Shortcut to" text by applying following registry tweak:

Goto:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

and create a new Binary Value link and set its value to 00 00 00 00

hmmm by modifying registry u can do almost anything..bt dnt u think its a bit tough to rem all those tweaks...so if there is one free and trusted toll..why not let it do things for ue..what do u say?

can do the bin too.I found a tweak by which you can enable the rename option for the bin.Just rename it alt+0160.AND viola no recycle bin lable
to rename the recycle bin-

(Standard) [String] = "Recycle bin" [default]
InfoTip [String] = "Stores deleted objects..."
LocalizedString [String] = stores path to shell32.dll

Subfolder ShellFolder contains value:
Attributes [binary] = 40 01 00 20 [default]

Change to:
50 01 00 20 (Renaming allowed and context menu contains 'Rename')
70 01 00 20 (Renaming allowed)
