Get Rid of Arrows frm icons ?

well ... ,

this month in digit we got this trick to (GET RID of ICON's arrows)

how many of u tried and its really happening ?

i tried it lot but still can't dooo :( so plz if anyone did it let me know how :)

I didnt read the trick mentioned in DIGIT, but u can get rid of the arrow by using following trick: :)

Open regedit and remove "IsShortCut" key from following keys:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile (to remove arrow from application shortcuts)
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile (to remove arrow from PIF files (DOS based) shortcuts)
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut (to remove arrow from URL files shortcuts)

hey dude why dont use tweak ui.it includes this and many other cool tweaks.

Use the tool provided in the tute to remove arrows from icons & also U can know the registry trick for that.

dude ..,

i want remove frm app shortcut but tht inkfile is not there :(

i have already removed the arrows with the help of tweak ui.Dont be afraid just save your registry by clicking file>export.it is not such a big tweak so no harm will be there go for it.
and:D please rep me if it works.

yes,if you have made all three changes and it is still not working restart it.

no no no its not workin :(

i only deleted lnk and than restarted now alll the icon came unknown icon :(

sooo i restored the reg thnx God i save tht reg thnx to VIMAL

lolz now i have installed tweak now wat suld i do ................

whoa i was afraid for once.but it was good you saved it earlier.But Vishal what must have gone wrong? why it did not work.
hey dude have you the deleted the lnkfile completely.you had to remove isshortcut entry from inkfile.maybe that had caused the trouble.
