Gentoo Linux 2008.0 released

even I had tried this installer already. gentoo2008 installer beta was there for 2 months or so. BTW ,I never used gentoo installer to install gentoo.(it sucks )

^^ Gentoo is definitely not for newbies. You should start with either Linux Mint 5 or Mandriva One 2008.1!

Actually i had tried installing ubuntu on my pc but it didnt work(*www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88034), maybe i will try to install it in VM...let me try mandriva for now

^^ After reading a few posts, I guess you tried it via Wubi and not natively ? You could give Mint a try on a seperate partiton.

For now though, you should go ahead and try mandriva. Remember that "Mandriva One" is the version that you should be downloading.
