1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
Gaming at 1080p at at least High settings in games like Watch Dogs and most other upcoming games.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
One lakh + or - 10k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
No.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
2TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:
21+ inch, 1080p

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
Speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:
Within a month.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:
Done by an assembler. How does this matter?

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:
I'm going to be buying locally, probably. But open to online sites as long as they have Cash on Delivery option.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
I want every component, please. (Except the speakers)
Even the cabinet, sound card, etc. (as is given in "Killer Rigs")
And please suggest a nice case!

I think rijinpk1 has suggested an awesome rig. Just one change, look at Source 530 if full-tower is needed.

Um.. This may sound stupid, but why the Xeon?
Also, rijinpk1, sure that's within my budget? That adds up to 114.5K, and I've not seen any seller selling 2X4GB RAM which you've suggested at 5K!

> Xeons are basically i7s without IGP. They are available at similar price as higher end i5s and have more processing power so they are often suggested.

> That's what I wanted to say. Also, a Xeon e3 1245v3 is too much for gaming IMHO.
