1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming. (am targeting doom when it releases, but i fear that the GPU might need upgrading) otherwise -Crysis 1-2-3, Farcry (nepal one - been away
), Tomb raider 2, Doom old series, batman series and all the AAA titles from past 3 years.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: No issue, but in my opinion spending 1+ lac is overkill
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Nononono, not comfortable
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7?
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: am using 6 + external drives as of now, so any thing that gives the system good performance is desired
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Ok, here is the rub, have 2 basic LCD monitors (acer 22 inches, and 14 inches both support VGA only), am thinking of getting Optoma HD141x (1080p) projector for gaming and movies, will do?
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Speakers. (have Logitech Z550d), DVD rom drive
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: in the next 1-2 months, part by part (waiting for dooms final specs actually)
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Self assembled
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai or Pune can be done. Online have trust issues but will do if highly recommended.
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
A. Will be gaming for <3-4 hrs per day. But whenever I do, i would like to have all the bells and whistles turned on. Will be sore if doom crawls, hence planned upgrades are desirable.
B. Am not a fan of Case lighting but am going to go in for a modular PSU for clean internals. A windowed cabinet too
C. Minimal CPU noise desired.
D. Gaming resolution limited to 1080p, dont want fancy 4k graphics actually
