Hai,

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Games like Witcher 3 , COD-Black Ops , Crysis 3 , Assassins Creed: Unity . Applications like Tally , Oracle 10 , Office 2007 , DBA .

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Rs.35,000.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 8.1 Pro x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes , 1600x900 , Want a 20" Monitor from Dell only.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Nothing in fact.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: 2-3 weeks

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Yes, will be done by an assembler.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Hyderabad , Buying locally or online which ever is cheaper...

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Do keep the Budget under 35k as far as possible.

Thanks & Regards,

PS: This PC is for a friend who has almost got used to using a Laptop until now. He is hesitating to go for a Desktop. I convinced him somehow.

> The price difference between 500 GB HDD and 1 TB HDD is just 300-400 bunks to 500 GB makes no sense.

> I think you meant GTX 650ti OC. 660 retails for ~13k.

^ And Western Digital's A.S.S. is much better than Seagate so it's recommend to go with WD.

Yeah I agree one should go with 1 TB since price difference is only 400 rs.
WD caviar blue prices have gone up considerably. I couldn't find 1TB locally. I ordered mine online @3750 + shipping[thats the lowest I could find]
Seagate barracuda read and write speeds are very similar to WD blue caviars so its a viable option

Yeah I meant 650ti oc, sorry for typo.
