1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
Games released in this decade, and upcoming games. (eg. BioShock Infinite, Crysis(exception), Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Watch Dogs)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
75K unextendable.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
No.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
1TB+

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:
21+ inch, 1080p

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
None

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:
Within a month.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:
Done by an assembler.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:
I'm going to be buying locally, probably. But open to online sites as long as they have Cash on Delivery option.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
I want every component, please.
Even the cabinet, sound card, etc. (as is given in "Killer Rigs")
And please suggest a nice case!

Yup, basically just copied my other post and changed the budget. XD
Well, it is for my best friend.

Where did you get the prices from?

Also, what will be the difference in performance between this and my rig? (*www.digit.in/forum/pc-components-configurations/184295-gaming-rig-under-one-lakh.html)

> That Intel rig will perform a bit faster but that's nothing that will be visible easily.

So what's the point of spending 30k more? I want something that actually makes a difference. Help please?

First let's clear that we boath are referring to this rig-

Intel Core i5 4570 (13700)
Asus H87M-E (7900)
Corsair Vengeance or G.Skill RipjawsX 4GB x2 1600Mhz (5200)
Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X (32800)
WD AV-GP 2 TB (6300)
Seasonic SS-750AM (7400)
Corsair 400R (5300)
Cooler Master Devastator Gaming Bundle (3000)
APC 1100VA UPS (5400)
benq gl2450 (10800)
Cooler Master Hyper 212x (3000)

Total: 1,00,800

> It has 8 GB RAM instead of 4 GB.
> It has a 2 TB HDD.
> It has a much better PSU.
> It has a much much better cabinet.
> It has gaming KB and mouse.
> It has a 1.1 kVA UPS.
> It has a much better and bigger monitor.
> It has an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Hope the picture is clear now. Don't be naive.

+1. however hyper 101 does not make any sense for 1.5k. look for atleast hyper 212x. he might need to overclock it to cope with r9 290,i think so.

see here AnandTech | Bench - CPU. xeon e3 1245v3 is essentially an i7 4770 which is just 100mhz downclocked than i7 4770k.

i dont really know. but at-least in some games which are more cpu bound, small overclocks may be necessary. ask Cilus.

go for sapphire or the one mentioned in my rig in my signature.

With Core i5 4440 and Sapphire R9 290 Tri X, you will get better Frame rates than FX-8320. Now if you are ready for small overclocking then bumping the speed a little like 200 to 300 MHz will give you slightly better FPS. If you can accommodate i5 and 290 then go with it. Else FX-8320 + 290 Tri-X.

Thanks for clearing that up Cilus...
Also came to know that the Sapphire Tri X is a very cool(temp. wise) and quiet card.
