1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I want to play Crysis 3 on High/Very high settings with smooth frame-rates at 1366 x 768 resolution.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Budget is 40k, can increase to 41k but no more than that

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 or Windows 8 64bit

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500gb is enough

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Because of my budget, I would like 15.6 inch led monitor with 1366 x 768 resolution which supports 16:9 aspect ratio

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Keyboard, Mouse, UPS and Speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: First week of January 2013.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Will be done by an assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I live in Hyderabad. Will buy locally only.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I want a PC around GTX 660 or HD 7850, so i would like to know which one is better.

Intel Core i5 3450@ 11.7K (Flipkart)
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H @ 4K
Corsair 1333 MHz 4GB CL9 DDR3 @ 1.1K
WD Blue 500GB SATA @ 3.3K
Corsair CX 430 v2 @ 2.6K
Dell 2030M 20" LED @ 6.1K
Gigabyte HD 7850 2GB OC @ 13.4K

Total: ~ 42K

There is no point to game @ 1366X768 resolution and at a 16" display, it will not let you enjoy games at full extent. So suggested you a 20" display with 1600X900 resolution. At this resolution you can play almost all the current titles at VERY HIGH settings with HD 7850.

Exactly .......better get a big display....even better add Rs 1500 more and go full HD ! Its (display) not something you buy everyday so think about it! Eye candy matters be it movies games or surfing!

hey thanks for replying...the thing is I have been using a 1024x768 resolution 15 inch monitor for a long time and I am happy with it but the problem is it doesn't support aspect ratio of 16:9 and somes game don't support 4:3 aspect ratio like Assassins Creed III...it just looks so bad getting cut from top and bottom

so can you please explain what will be the difference between 1366x768 and 1600x900 or 1920x1080?

also how about a GTX 660 instead of HD 7850?

and there are other b75 motherboards by msi, asrock and asus around 4k...and some of them have 4 memory slots so which one will be better?

Simply put, you will have more clarity at higher resolutions (assuming your gpu can push it)

7850 is better. It takes a further lead at higher resolutions and memory heavy games.

The one suggested is good to go. And also has four memory slots.

for example say a game runs at 60 fps with everything set to low on 1920 x 1080 and runs at 60 fps maxed out on 1366x768 still 1920 x 1080 will look better?

@Myth
Gtx660 performs better than hd7850.Even at more AA levels gtx660 would be still better than hd7850 in 1080p in most of the games.

@Ghouse12311
Take gtx660 if you can find one for 14-15k,not above that. GIGABYTE GTX 660 2GB DDR5 OC-14.8k.Otherwise hd7850 is fine.
Around 17k or more hd7870 is the card to get if you can extend your budget.
