1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: All kind of action games like Call of Duty, GTAV , Battlefiled, NFS, FIFA. Also planning to run CAD applications to enchance professional career.
Suggest HASWELL(INTEL) config only.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 60K maximum +/- 5K, would mind spending bit more where it really matters in the long term

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes why not. if you are suggesting k series cpu will surely overclock it in the future when CPU runs out of steam. Haven't done it before

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Will use Windows 8.1 or 8. (Dont include in budget)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: So much to store. Maximum space is required ! Should I go for 2HDD'S or large 1HDD(2TB) concerning failure. Is SSD a necessity considering my budget

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, Prefer FULL HD . Somewhere around 23/24Inch.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I will buy whole new computer apart from Keyboard(Logitech G110),Speakers.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: First week of 2014.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No. I'm a service engineer by profession. Any links are welcome.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: DUBAI. Last time I built a CPU for my friend here found few of suggested components not available. Will revert with updates on whats not available.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: YES,
1) Should I go for mobo with wifi or add a wireless card, since maximum time connectivity is through wifi.
2) Can I use my monitor to connect Dish STB to watch as TV or can I do it with a convertor?
3) I want a config that'll survive for another 2-3 years with maximum budget limited to 65K.

all the gamers out there ? does overclocking really make a difference considering the R9 270x graphics card. anyways my idea is to overclock after a year or later when my pc ain't good enough to run games in full HD...

> Overclocking doesn't make any visible difference in gaming.

> The suggested monitor; Dell S2240L; has an HDMI connector. you can connect it to anything that supports HDMI out.

good one. i7 is not required for gaming and it may cost 21k atleast.
for case, get antec gx700 at 4k or betfenix merc alpha at 2.9k. for cpu cooler, hyper tx3 evo or antec a40.

> An i7 will cost 20k. you will notice absolutely no difference in gaming between an i5 and an i7.

> Corsair 400R will be a good choice.

> No need of aftermarket cooler as the processor is locked.
