Game in fullscreen mode suddenly minimizing

this is my second post in this forum..i am been having some issues lately.
whenever i play a game on my windows PC , it suddenly minimizes
it seems that the culprit is an application in the background whic randomly shows up for some microseconds.
so i can't find out the app causing this trouble. i am so mad right now
what should i do?
i just uninstalled steam right now.
no help.

my rig: [not really great]
AMD phenom x4 965 Black EDition
4 GB of DDR3 RAM
250 GB HDD
nVIDIA geFORCE 8400 GS graphics[very basic]

there was a section on writing my rig?! i cant find it...am lost here as i have not been here since long...anyhow,any ideas?

By any chance are you playing FIFA?

must be an issue with very low vram of the 8400GS or any other gu related issue - if you are serious about gaming consider changing the GPU .

BTW, what PSu do you have and your OS is win 7 ??

nope...no FIFA.

this issue was never there before and it has suddenly popped up..PSU is of 450W of i-ball
OS is win 7 x64...i dont really wanna change my graphics now,not before a year or two as i believe that this rig suits my study needs.

try some older less demanding games(like some old nfs titles) & see if the same problem happens.
