funny error in win 98

i recently installed 98 using an original bootable cd.but when i run in normal mode, foll error comes up:

Windows Security error.
Please restart.

it runs normally in safe mode.
so ,how to run it in normal mode ?

while booting press ctrl if you have only win98. if you have 98 and XP, press f8. you will be taken into a menu. there will be an option, start windows normally. select that
