Frozen Bubble

I installed it in Ubuntu 5.04.But there is no sound.Sound works in other apps.
What to do?

Do you mean that sound works in other distributions? Anyway, type lspci | grep snd in a terminal, if there is output, your sound card has been detected, try to see if it is unmuted by using alsamixer.

If your sound card has not been unmuter, try to find the module for your sound card at www.alsa.org, and run sudo modprobe <module name>.

Also try sudo alsaconf.

Search the forum, there have been many sound related problems posted.

My soundcard is configured in Ubuntu.I am able to listen to music and all.Shall try what you said..

try for any config files in ur home dir for frozen bubble.
Code:
#ls -a

if some "."/hidden files of frozen bubble back up/rename and delete. :)

there r some user configuration files :shock: in ur home directory for some
programs.if u put the command in cli,
$cd
$pwd
/home/vignesh
$ls -la,
.frozen...
it will show some hidden config files.check whether any '.' files named
frozen bubbles, jus a wild guz.if yes try removing that file from your home directory.

Anyway did not do what you said.i started frozen bubble ,supertux and tuxracer from the terminal then the sound works..
