ZipGenius is a free compression suite, not just a zip/unzip utility, for users that need to have a complete suite that allows data compression and backup in just one application. The newer major release focused on improving security features while extracting data from archives, and it offer support to typical Linux archive type like RPM, TAR, TAR.GZ and so on.

ZipGenius main features:
 Zip64 format supported, so it can handle Zip files larger than 4 GB.

 7-zip supported

 Support to more than 20 archive types: read the full list here.

 Backup features including Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird profiles backup (you can even convert these backup files to SFX so you could restore them without ZipGenius)

 Security check on file preview: if you try to preview a file that ZipGenius marked as "suspected", the program will warn about potential risks you a re running into; if you set the path to an antivirus in the options panel, then the program will prompt to scan the selected file before running it

 New Explorer panel in the sidebar: it allows to add/extract files to/from archives through drag and drop

 UPX executable files precompression

:arrow:Multilanguage

 Skinnable GUI

 4 encryption algorhythms: CZIP 2.1, Blowfish, Twofish, Rijndael (AES). You can even create encrypted executable archives that don't need ZipGenius to be decrypted and decompressed.

 Support to TWAIN devices in order to import and compress pictures with just an application

ZipGenius is absolutely free (no ads, no spyware, no registration) and it is available in 2 editions that differ for what they have inside.
