I have a XFX nvidia geforce 7600gt agp card for sell.This is one of the best agp cards available and can play all the latest games .I have completed games like crysis and gears of war with it.It comes with 256mb ddr 3 ram.So if you have an old motherboard and wish to play all the latest games then this card is for you.Also the card is just 3 months old and has a total warranty of 3 years.I got it for around 8k and i am expecting around 7k.I am selling this card since i am buying a new system supporting pcie format.I am in a bit hurry so anyone intrested can e mail at ronie_mhtr@yahoo.com or contact me on my cell NO PHONE NUMBERS.I stay in mumbai so buyers from mumbai or nearby are welcomed.

Why would anyone want to buy that for 7k when you can get 8600GT for less than 6k?

first thing u got it for 8k.....thts a hefty price u paid
2nd no1 will pay u 7k for an AGP doesnt matter how old it is..max u can get is 4k-4.5k.
for 7k ppl can get a new c2d combo e2140 n ip35 mbo..addin up buxx they can get pcie 76gt for 3k(i may sell one).
@nvidia n @napster 8600gt is for pcie platform u cant compare agp n pcie prices like tht..

Hey good agp cards are very hard to find.I checked lamington market in mumbai and the card still costs between 7.5 to 8k (agp) version so i have reduced my price to 6.5 k since my card is only 3 months old. ANY way the 8600gt is pcie card and wont work on old motherboards with agp slot.The only other faster agp cards available are ati 1950 and 7850gtx from nvidia both of them are not available in india.So for agp users this is the best bet.

And buy the way a friend of mine wants to sell his ati 9550 agp card containing 256 mb ddr2 ram any one intrested can contact me.

the 9550 costs 1k.

good point. Thats what most guys do when it comes to switching from AGP to PCIe, because these days mobos are quite cheap. And if you care about quality, you will always know that a new "low end" mobo is better than an age old "high end" mobo. For example, one of my friends bought that Rs. 2.5k XFX mobo for switching from 256MBddr400 ram and onboard with agp slot to a new mobo with ddr800 slot, pcie, better onboard, etc. He was worried at first about lack of dual channel in the new board, while his "high end" old board supported it. But when he relaised that ddr800 > ddr400-dual, and that the 1 GB ddr400 stick he was planning to buy for his old board could instead be ditched for cheaper 1GBddr800 memory for the new board.

In today's world, AGP cards will sell only if they have performance similar to Intel GMA X3100, and are priced under 2k. Otherwise people usually concider switching to newer boards.
