Firewall protact problem...

I'm using Windows XP Prof. SP2.

When ever I log on to my system, the following message shows on the screen.
Firewall protact has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

What is the problem?
What i have to do?

please tell me any suggestions...

Well,
try running the firewall after it crashes and configure it for silent action and if u have win xp fwall , jus disable it and install some other fwall like zone/black ice/sygate/kerio etc...
