i was fooled into buying a fake 8 GB toshiba pen drive. i think someone has tampered with the size and it is not actually an 8 gb pen drive, but of lesser size. Is there a way to repair the pen drive so that it becomes usable. one thing is that when i copy files to the pen drive, it shows only the folders but not the files inside. what do i actually do?

No.You can't get the full capacity.Try formatting the pen drive to solve the problem u mentioned. In future buy only genuine products.

i didnt mean get full space. just, getting it to work like a normal pen drive...get the original space...whatever it is. i feel like blasting the person, but i forgot where i bought it from.

it shows 8 gb usable but when i add a large file, it doesnt show up in the drive. the folder is visible. sometimes, exe's dont execute well. i tried formatting. also, the pen drive is abt a year old.
