excel contacts to android device

dear all

i restored my phone to factory default. earlier i have saved my contacts to excel file using app.

now i want to restore my contacts. but that app is asking money. can anyone help me find a free app which can import my contats from excel file to my phone contacts.

tried most of the apps from play store but not working.?? atleast help me with free version of excel to vcard file convertor.

Extension of file is .xls I took backup using eastros app on playstore. Any solution??? Tried excel to contacts app but it's only showing partial names. Tnx

I can't find that app.
Excel backup is pretty wierd and useless and creates problem with names and numbers. No matter how many times you take backup to excel everytime you will see partial names and no.

There are many apps for good backup option.

For offline backup there are many apps but clean and easy interface app is "Super Backup SMS & Contacts", which works fine everytime.

For online backup and easy method is.
Use offical google contact app from playstore. If it's not available for your device then download it from apkmirror.com site.
It will save your contacts to your Google account on Google server. Whenever you add contact or edit contact or remove contact it will be directly synced with their online site on your account.

You can edit backup restore your contacts from that site.
You don't need to backup contacts from mobile if you use this online service.
(Make sure "sync" is workimg fine on android)

For excel you can also use Google contacts site, select restore contacts in that site. (Try leaving contacts preview)

Many online services also available.

Try the same app (or app publisher) to restore your contacts.

You should keep auto-sync turned on so that your playstore ID (gmail ID) can sync your contact and help you restore it after the phone reset.

Try to sync with your gmail or you need to pay for one contact transfer app.
Also, if your contacts are not too many, you can add them to your phone manually.
