guys, could u tell me how to create a forum "from scratch"? i don't wanna use any generic, template forums.... which programming languages need to be known? php? and any others?

Basic knowledge of PHP-MySQL is required. Thats it!
I also made my own blogging scripts using PHP-MySQL. It pretty simple once you get the logic!
Javascript may also be used if you know it.

Yeah, really those are useful. PHP and MySQL are growing in a rapid rate in terms of usability on internet.
