what is the merit of .epub Extension . why not use .pdf , I think .pdf file are very good .

Pdf are the worst format imo. Epub is best as it is highly customizable. Eveything from fonts to background/foreground color and text size can be adjusted pretty easily in epub compared to pdfs.

.epub format open by using caliber software very difficult , and also lot of time taken to open . also caliber too bulky ??? agree???

Foxit reader and irfanview can open epub files and are lightweight too.

you can use aldiko to open .epub its standard on iphone or kindle

I've been using moon reader to read novels on my phone. It's pretty good and will support all major formats including epub

Try them both and choose whichever you like. I use Foxit reader.
