Since Gigabyte has a better quality, I would recommend it over ASROCK...
No, dual core E5200 can handle a HD 5670 and it is ok with the motherboard also. But your friend can overclock the CPU to 2.8-3 GHz to get better performance
memory is backward compatible.
It will read in bios as 1066, but if you overclock or reconfigure the BIOS manually it will allso go higher.
if your not going to oc, then 1066 is the highest officially supported.
