Email Clients

I have been using Outlook Express 6 in WinXP-SP3. But the volume of mails is increasing. OE-6 has slowed down somewhat.

What other email client do you recommend?

- Outlook
- Evolution (for Windows)
- Thunebird
- The Bat (not free)

Or shall I stay stuck to OE-6?
I don't need other PIM features. Only emails.

i have used Outlook a lot. i feel it is good. i cant compare it with anything else.
you can enable auto archiving in Outlook and also compress the PST file regularly which will keep a check on the size of the PST file.
before that i think you should try Evolution. From what i v heard abt it, i think it is a good competitor.

I have installed Evolution. Will check it out.

But I was not too comfortable with incredimail when I tried it a few years ago. Has things change much in there?

Opera's in-built email client is good but Thunderbird & KMail are full fleged ones.
