Edubuntu not installing

When I boot my computer with edubuntu CD it shows the boot screen and option screeen but after selecting any options of those available it shows the following on the screen(at lower portion):

A similar response I get from Gentoo or ubuntu installer. help requested

reasons can be a bad CD(media) containing live-cd or memory problem.supposing that u cant get it installed.even in some cases the hdd too got problem.

try Ubuntu "alternate" CD.

Well someone recommended using the command noapic but that did not work so when I did some research I found that if I use the command noapic acpi=off it will boot.

that means when livecd first shows a CLI screen with ubuntu logo,enter below commands appended to the line

^ there is an option to list command mode.

If a hardware problem is there , then Windows should also have some problems . But I haven't experienced any.Comment.
