hi... is there any software through which i can extract a portion of my dvd movie like a song in the movie without processing the whole movie...???

wellll u can always rip the movie and encode only a part of it using virtual dub or tmpgenc....
that would be best i guess ... ull have to encode from VOB anyways ...
so do that
