I need to buy a Dual SIM active phone (not standby). What are the models available in India? The phone will be used for calls and SMS only.

If u r willing to pay upto 15K slab , then go for Sony Xperia M Dual .
Otherwise variety of Nokia n Samsung models r available between 5K - 10K range. Visit ebay.in for price comparing n features available according to ur needs

As I said visit ebay.in for Mobiles category and set d price range for desired phones and this will give you price estimate in your area, if u want to buy offline. There r variety of models for you

If the phone will be used only for SMS and calls, you will get lots of models of Samsung and Nokia in the 5-10k range... The Sony Xperia Tipo can be a good choice

Its a dual sim standby phone. It has a smart dual sim feature (basically a call forwarding) which can be used with some operators
