Dual Boot problem

I have 2 Hdd. In one i have installed windows 8 and in other win 7.when i boot in win 7 i can access the other drive content but when i boot in win 8 , i can't access the win 7 Hdd. And also can't boot straight from win 8 drive making it primary in BIOS, when i do that i get this message Bootmgr error. How can i fix this problem and get booted straight from win 8 Hdd and access other drive when i log in too.

Is the HDD is showing in device manager in Win 8 ??

yh in device manager it is showing but in windows explorer it isn't.When i boot in win 8 in win explorer win 7 hdd is nt shown but when i boot in win 7 win 8 hdd is visible. Boot Mgr fault shows when i make the win 8 hdd the primary one in Bios.

Go to Disk manger and see if its there. if there then just assign Drive letter and it should work, if not then report back.
Also post a screenshot of Diskmanager here.
