hi
I have dual boot system with Win 98 and Win XP installed on drive C and D respectively. A couple of days ago, i started facing problem in starting Win 98. I was unabe to start Win 98 by any way ( even through Safe mode ) but I am able to start and work with Win Xp in normal way.
Now i want to install Win 98 on Drive C. Shall I install it with Start up disk ?? or shall I install it through Win XP ??
My primary OS is Win 98.
In any case, after installing Win 98 , will I be able to load Win XP ??? or i will have to make some modification in boot or system files ???
Plz help me out ..
Waiting 4 ur posts and answers.
Bye
Manoj

Setup Windows 98 through DOS. While installation, it'll prompt you to install windows 98 in Windows.000 since Windows XP is already installed in the Windows folder. Finish the installation.

Done!

Installing through DOS wont give a 'higher version' error at all.

As for NTFS, yes, lots of trouble then!
