Dual boot PC - Hide Windows 98

Hai I have both Win98 and Win XP in my PC. Now I would like to hide Windows 98 from the boot screen in which it allows the user to choose between the two OS.
But if I go into WinXP directly without choice of selecting, is it possible for me to run Win 98 when needed?
Please help me.

in Windows XP
right click MyComputer-->properties-->advanced(tab)-->startup&recovery-->check chechbox saying "time to display list of operatng system " and enter value ==0

Set the value to 1. That way, you can get the bootscreen if you press a key.

modify the boot.ini file and remove the entry for windows 98

yup set the value to 1. If u need xp dont do nething .. if u need 98 press a key to choose
