Recently I installed MandrakeLinux V 10.1 but sound is not present. My motherboard is Intel 915GAV with sound on board. Its drivers for MandrakeLinux are not available on Intel site or other sites on internet. Any help?

make sure that the sound is turned on...
i too have MDK 10.1 official edition, always i find the sounds of the system turned down.. wonder why they put a default volume icon on the system tray.
