Hi,

I purchased my first rapidshare account Friday evening.

By 10 at night, I was downloading some files via rapidshare
premium, using Internet Download Manager.

After I had downloaded about 1.46GB, I got the message
"You've downloaded more than 25GB in the last 5 days", and
cannot download anymore.

My logs on rapidshare also show 25GB, although it's not so
because I downloaded only 1.46GB.

Their support told me it could be because of IDM, which adds
to the size of the file being downloaded. But 1.46GB becoming
25 GB is a load of crap.

Can someone help me out? Anyone faced similar problems? :(

Thanx.

use flashget.....it is best....hope u changed ur login info....i did not face any problem in rapidshare.....

AFAIK none of the rapidshare account schemes is volume based...

All their premium plans have limits. (Check the bottom of the rates page).

You are allowed to do 25GB in 5 days. That means, you can do 25GB today
and not do anything for the next 4 days.

How you use that 25GB/5 days slot is upto you, but you cannot cross
25GB in 5 days.

However, my problem is that I have downloaded 1.4GB and I'm being told
that I have downloaded 25GB (that too in 3 hours). I wish I had that sort
of a connection. Presently, I can do 2GB in about 1.5 Hours. (T3 45Mbps)

I'll try Flashget.
