Downloading iTunes software

For the past two days I have been trying to donload the Apple iTunes software from the net....but the download never actually starts.....I even used a download manager for the same but to no avail...I use IE6 for browsing....How can I download this software?

Well, the iTunes 6.0.1 was downloaded pretty much successfully here three days from now. Check the source mentioned above and try downloading any other s/w as well to check if your connection is working fine or is it the problem in general.

You can download it from alternative servers like those from Fileforums. You can download it from here I pretty much like Betanews as they are fast in updating the news/software upgrades and the servers are never down and give good download speeds for narrowband users like us in India. For sure some of the US ppl with high speed broadband would say slow servers as they cant download it at max speeds which they can get from their connection.

I have downloaded iTunes 2 times ...one from apple's site n the other from fileforums....but wenever i start the setup it says some installation files are corrupt download the setup again....wat to do?

Download and Install DAP(Download Accelerator Plus) or Opera Web Browser.. Coz the IE6 Default Download Application Doesnt Have Many Features like Resuming, Acceleration, Queue etc....

bizarre_blue, i have got the same problems sometimes back. i guess there is no problem with ur connection or browsers.

does the site ask for registration for downloading the file? if so register and then get the download link from them... for my problem, i downloaded a software from direct link given by friend and everytime i dl it, i got the installation error, but when i registered and got the download link... it worked fine. i cudnt correlate between this registration and corruption, but u cud try it incasr they needed registration.
