downloader for ubuntu

Is there any downloader just like Internet Download Manager for Ubuntu? So that it wil be easy to download. Please suggest me.

You can simply download Download | Ubuntu, you can use Download Managers here in this case.

Otherwise I'd suggest torrent, Alternative downloads | Ubuntu as it's far more reliable that HTTP / FTP download(in my opinion).

If yes use this in the terminal

It supports resuming.

I use firefox with DownThemAll. Never had to use anything else although I do miss FlashGet's ability to download from MMS and RSTP links and also eDonkey links....

If u guys use firefox then install addon DownThemAll.... best download manager.... also works after closing firefox.....
