Hi friends,
I have Win XP and Vista Home Ultimate on my laptop. Whenever i boot into Vista the software that i use to keep a track on Internet usage i.e DU meter or Bandwidth meter pro show just the double of actual bandwidth m using. If a download is at 48KBps they show it as 96 or 100KBps. If i download a 2MB file they show the total download at about 4MB or so. Why is this happening ?
Everything works fine in XP.
I have the latest Vista compatible DU meter. I have an airtel DSL connection through either USB or Broadcomm 10/100 network card(I use both the connections)

Strange!
BTW my logic for this problem is that my laptop has 2 processor(Core Duo) n vista is in its beginning(buggy) stage so it uses both the proccesors to calculate the bandwidth and so displays twice the result
Okay jokes apart, isnt there a solution or reasoning to my problem. Any other bandwidth monitoring tool(like DU meter) whch u ppl use to check ?
