Does Nokia 5300 have slider problem?

I am intraested in buying nokia 5300 but many shopkeepers gave it an negative rating and said that it is having sliding problems and its not an successfull model!
is it true?
can i skip this model?

Dude, I have the Nokia 5300...got it in Feb..
No problems till now.. the Slider is good..

no azzu, i haf w700i wid me. as yet none of my frenz haf reported any probs wid the 5200/5300 slider after using it for more than about 6-7 months or so. hence, i assume its not problematic.

guys, i haf cummed hehe....

I have not bought it till now because its not available in my colour choice!
I am comparing it with K750i as there is only difference of 800 bucks?

Which will give better music quality with my ep630 earphones?

the only thing that is lacking in k750i is edge support. otherwise 5300 is no match for k750i in any aspect!

Well imo the only advantage K750i has over 5300 is a better camera. Apart from that 5300 has better features such as QVGA display, bluetooth v2 with A2DP, EDGE, external music keys, etc. It also comes with a 256 mb memory card and a 3.5 mm adaptor which means you can connect your EP630 to it easily. Sound quality is also excellent. So i think you should stick with 5300.

but 5300 is a phone.... will satisfy ur need of a slider phone
