do i need to buy smps ???

corsair 2 gb



i got my smps from from delhi @ rs 900
it is gsm inpire 500 watt
will this smps be sufficient to handle Saphire hd 5450 1 gb ddr3

It might be...but why trust in some good for nothing psu?

At least consider getting a Corsair CX430 @ 2.4k....(dunno if V2 is available)

With this I suggest you to go for a Fsp Saga II 500w @2.2 k approx.

Radeon 5450 is a very low power consuming card and at peak consumes only 19W, so IMO this generic PSU is SOMEWHAT OK.
But if you have cash, then the Cheapest good PSU you can go for is FSP SAGAII 350W at 1.5k, but SAGAII 500W at 2.1k will be the best bet.
