DMA Driver Error, CRC Error

Hi.

I have a Sony DRU-800A , firmware revision KY06.
I use Nero v7.11.6.0 for burning.

I have recently started facing a strange problem with my drive.
The problem is, whenever I burn a DVD, I get "DMA Driver Error, CRC Error".

I'm posting it's log here,

I have tried media from different companies such as Sony, Writex, Moserbar, etc., but with all of them I get the same error.
I have tried speeds from 8x-16x but still get the error.
Have tried +/-R discs but get errors on both.

What could be the problem?

Try to install the drive on another system.

In your BIOS, make this drive the Primary IDE Master.

Physically as well as logically, it is (& already was) set as Primary Master.

Try this two steps this ay help u out

1 Use a 80 wire flat cable and disconnected a second device from the cable.

If 1 steps works it good otherwise try second step

2.Changing jumper on back of drive from master to slave

For both 1 and 2 step check this out first Also check that u have set the mode to DMA in device manager(Primary IDE channel and secondary IDE channel)
