DivX movie playback quality low

Yesterday when i played a DivX movie in WMP it appears to have grains in it (like having a bad cable reception). I have played the same movie very well weeks ago. I think this occured after i installed a SP2 on my Pc. Has my divx codec corrupted.The same problem shows up in other media players too.
I can play MPEG adn DVD movies without a problem. Also the same DivX movies show no problem when played in Windows 98.

u can always try o update or reinstall ur divx

Looks like you have used some kind of filter. I have seen some filters which change the output to look grainy,black and white etc etc. Dissable all plugin except Divx, or try playing the video in VLC Player or DivX Player.
