display driver stopped working & blue screen dump..........

Hi guys.........


i am facing a problem . Today when i turned on my pc i found its very sluggish. Before i could understand anything one error message came up " Display Driver stopped working and recovered ". After few seconds blue screen dump message and restarted itself. This problem occurred 7-8 times.

my system configuration is in my signature.

The display card driver version is Nvidia 3D Vision Driver 320.49

so what could be the problem ?

is there any risk to my hard disk drive ?


currently i have reinstalled the display driver and its working nicely.

If it working after a driver reinstall, then it was probably a corrupt driver.

hope so.......... but let me run the pc for few hours ... then i can be sure about it

Go in to settings Nvidia Control Panel, Under Manage 3D settings/Global Settings and Program Settings/Power Management Mode set Maximum Performance

PhysX Config - Set your GPU and not auto select.

Do that and check. If problem persist uninstall the driver in safe mode with Your uninstaller and do a fresh install.
