Right off the assembly line
i have a Nikon Coolpix 4600. I turned it on and it said "Warning Batteries Exhausted" and it turned itself back off. THen i put new batteries in it and it wouldnt turn on. I have bought 3 news pack of batteries thinking it was the batteries. but clearly its not that. If anyone has any ideas or know who i can call or email about it please let me know i would appreciate it. Thank you

The same thing happend to my sony DSC650 or something like that.

i too bought 2 new pair of battries but it still did not work, so i let it go for some time came back after 2 hours or so and it worked, but it kept getting off after 2-3 shots, then i changed the battries again, now its fine.
i have no idea how it was.

did you leave the battries inside the cam for a long time?
there is a possibility of discharge.

where do you stay? if its indian bought take the waranty with you(if under waranty)

i think every city has a GK valve, take it to them, they will tell you what the problem is.
