Different view in Mall and Home for 3D TVs?

I have been to a nearby mall 2 days back and visited few showrooms and saw demos of a few 3D TVs. Some of the sales guy said that since it was an open light area, the effect was not that good. But should not we expect better view in all conditions? I have been to a nearby mall 2 days back and visited few showrooms and saw demos of a few 3D TVs. I liked the 2D to 3D conversion in all the brands namely Samsung, LG and Panasonic. Only issue was that the glasses in case of Samsung and Panasonics were heavier in comparison to LG.

Yeah, Samsung and Panasonic 3D TVs use Active glasses which are quite bulky due to the installed batteries in them. The batteries also leave a adverse effect on our health as they produce UV rays which leads to a headache to the person viewing the TV.
On the other hand brands like LG and Toshiba use Passive glasses which are quite light weighted as they don't have batteries in them and also they are free from all health related issues.
