Dell order assistance...

I booked dell xps 15 from dell exclusive store on 22 january 2012 and made payment through cheque.On the same day i received dell acknowledgment mail about my orfer with my IR number.Its been 9 days and i havent received the confirmation mail yet.
Is this a common issue that people who buy from dell exclusive store dont get confirmation mail?
I checked the order status online but nothing there.I even called the customer service who keeps forwarding my call and noone helps.
 
Hey i got an email from dell saying that my order has been delayed due to shortage of parts and arrival of parts is on 9th feb(written in their mail).Now what should i do?Its frustrating man....

I already told you that there have been speculations of Dell's late shipment of orders. You can do nothing except waiting. :)

Call them and threat them to that you can wait for so long and you are planning to cancel if they don't deliver it soon,that is the only thing you can do.And tell them after the delivery of this laptop you are planning to order few more laptops but it all depends if they deliver it now.
That is all you can do ;)

Thanks for the suggestion will try it tomorrow and see what happens..
