I bought it for 11,631 Rs. Got a huge discount being a Dell employee. I believe it is around 17 K on Dell India website.

It's not a mistake. It's not an Ultrasharp LCD as the other ones dell sells. The pixel pitch for this monitor is greater than it's counterparts or the 19inchers which makes it cheaper. It had been already selling for 17K on the website.

Damn, I should have got one while I was with Dell.. but they didn't sell this monitor then

Just booked Dell SP2208WFP. Now the waiting begins for the monitor to arrive. Will crack a 'nariyel' (coconut) on it as it arrives! It is the result of 3 weeks search and survey. Getting it for 16,100/- all inclusive in Bangalore.

Hmmm Maybe its time for me to buy a 22" monitor now . Thats a really nice price compared to the monitor prices I found out earlier.

nice. but, personally I dont like the design of dell monitors. Two weeks back I bought one from samsung (22") for 14.6k including tax. it has got good looks, amazing display quality and after sales support as well. just my 2 cents.
