Decent headphones under 4k

As the topic says, I'm on the lookout for a decent pair of headphones (over the ear) under a strict budget of 4000/- INR. Will be using it on my Sony vaio laptop's on-board audio, therefore it shouldn't be requiring an external dac/amp.

Koss Porta Pro or the Senn PX 100-II. Or if you can afford Senn HD 239.

Actually, I was also considering Sennheiser HD 439. It's available for 3900/- here in Delhi. My first priority would be movies and then games/music. Your views on it?

I had always felt that Sennheiser and the branded headphones are very good until I tried a Skullcandy headphone and guess what - it is very good for Rs 2.5k. I have been using it for 1.5 years and it has awesome sound. For that price and for anyone on a tight budget nothing like it.

Portapro is a difficult headphone to beat

That's exactly what I want. As I mentioned, I'm looking for "over the ear" headphones, however, porta pro is is "on the ear".

My flat-mate has a Sennheiser HD 439, and quite honstly, I don't like it much. Sounds too hollow and thin. Also, the volume is not that loud.

If you want closed type, go with eyes closed, Audio Technica M35, can't go wrong.
