decent DUAL SIM android

I need to buy a new phone for my brother.

1. Budget? Want to spend around 14k or less but can goto 18k
2. Display type and size? Screen size LESS than 4.5 preferred
3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip? any
4. Preferred choice of brand? any
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type). touch
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera. No particular need
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc). Android
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly. 3G, wifi
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)? GAMES like GTA, subway surfurs.. Lots of Apps
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)?
Internet (will use the phone as modem for laptop)
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
I personally loved Xperia L but my bro wants only dual sim and also he doesnt relly sony in terms of build quality.
12. Any other info that you want to share


The Ideal phone should have the following features:
- 1gb Ram
- 8gb Rom
- Dual Sim
- 1ghz processor
- < 4.5inch screen
- around 2000mAh Battery

If you go by this, Galaxy Grand duos ticks all the boxes. As your brother also wants Dual sim, this is a nice option.
If Dual sim is important, grand duos & upcoming Xperia M are nice options.
If single sim is sufficient, Xperia L is awesome !

Do note that Xperia M has 4 inch Screen, 1 GB ram, Dual sim, Dual core 1 Ghz,but only 4 GB rom, 5 MP camera & 1750 mAh. :)

Grand is 5-inch phone. Which is a major turn off. By brother used Quattro (4.7inch) for a month and was not happy with such a big phone.

will 4GB rom be a big problem?? How much space will the OS take??

I think OP Should Go For Galaxy Grand Core As it has everything What OP Is Looking For at Price Around 15.5k

@ OP - If you go through some threads already created you'll see that no senior member will suggest you Grand or any other piece of crap from Sam**it at that range. At 15k no other phones beat Xperia L! But Xperia L is a single sim, so I wouldn't suggest that. Instead have a look at Xolo A800 or A1000. Even Q800. They are value for money for phones and they perform better than whatever Sams*it has at that price range.

No.. Dont go for it.. If u want dual sim, check lenovo p770.. A balanced mobile with a marathon battery...

Well I have been using Xolo Q800 and very happy with the same, if you are interested do check out thevsame.

Galaxy core has a weak cpu compared to say Xperia L.But since it has dropped in price to about 12k i would say go for it.However if you can wait for Xperia M that would be better.
